One of the highlights of this year's Annual Charity Bazaar organized by the UN Women's Guild was the Hungarian national stall, where visitors could get a taste of traditional Hungarian cousine (this year Goulash soup, Gundel pancake and sandwiches with goose liver toppin among others), folklore and purchase souvenirs. The Hungarian Permanent Mission donated the proceeds to charity.

As part of the Art Vienna-Budapest Programme and Vienna Art Week 2012, the Permanent Mission of Hungary opened the "Waldsee exhibition tonight".
Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Ms. Judit Hammerstein and Mr. László Böröcz, curator of the 2B Gallery in Budapest opened the exhibition.
On 29 October, the Hungarian Embassy, the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the UN Office in Vienna and the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the OSCE held its annual reception on the occasion of the 56th anniversary pf the Hungarian revolution of 1956. Welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Fritz Neugebauer, Second President of the National Council of the Austrian Parliament.
On 21 June 2012 Yukiya Amano, Director General of the IAEA arrived to Budapest for an official visit. In the morning Mr. Amano visited the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Center for Energy Research then he met with Mr. György Matolcsy Minister of National Economy.
As a side event to the CTBTO's "Training the Trainers" seminar, the Hungarian Permanent Mission held a Panel Discussion on Civil and Scientific Applications of the CTBT Verification Technologies. Among the presenters were Dr. Kristóf Kakas from the Geological and Geophysical Institute of Hungary.
The Permanent Missions of Hungary in Vienna organized a guided tour of the exhibition "Magic and Mystery" from the works of the Hungarian painter Mihály Munkácsy, currently on display in the Künstlerhaus.

Ambassador Csuday's participation at the Seoul Nuclear Security Summit
The Hungarian Embassy, UN Permanent Mission and OSCE Permanent Mission invited the Hungarian Radio Children's Choir to perform at the Embassy's advent concert. Among the performances were pieces by Liszt, Kodály and Bach.
