As part of the CTBTO's Capacity Development Initiative this year's Public Policy and Diplomacy Course featured a number of high profile panelist, giving presentations about the disarmament and non proliferation global landscape as well as the organization as a whole.

Among the speakers was Ambassador Balázs Csuday, Permanent Representative of Hungary to the United Nations and other International Orgaizations in Vienna.

During a panel discussion entitled "Challenges of Achieving Entry into Force", Ambassador Csuday, along with his fellow panelist Ambassador Budiman of Indonesia, Ambassador Zafary-Odiz of Israel and Mr. Hushek, deputy permanent representative of the United States of America discussed why the Treaty is indispensable and efforts made to achieve its entry into force which will result in an international legally binding mechanism to stop nuclear tests.
