One of the highlights of this year's Annual Charity Bazaar organized by the UN Women's Guild was the Hungarian national stall, where visitors were treated to traditional Hungarian cuisine and folklore.
The UN Women's Guild was established over 40 years ago, with the objective of supporting less privileged children. The Charity Bazaar allows the community in Vienna to share different cultures, taste a variety of cuisines from all over the world and buy diverse products from different countries. Since its establishment the UN Women's Guild has raised and donated more than 4.4 million euro to children's charities worldwide. T
his year visitors of the Hungarian stall could purchase, among many others, Rubik's cubes decorated with famous Hungarian sites, hand painted Herend Christmas tree ornaments, gingerbread and other Hungarian specialties.
The Hungarian Permanent Mission to the UN donated the proceeds to charity.
