The State Secretary held a presentation on the assessment of the Hungarian EU Presidency and the current challenges of the Hungarian foreign policy

Zsolt Németh state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave a presentation on 5th July 2011 entitled “Assessment of the Hungarian EU Presidency and the current challenges of the Hungarian foreign policy” which took place in Vienna in the premises of the Hungarian Embassy organized by the Austrian Association for Foreign Policy and the United Nations (ÖGAVN) led by Wolfgang Schüssel former chancellor, in cooperation with the Hungarian Embassy and the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the UN.

In his speech the state secretary highlighted the importance of Hungary’s candidacy for a non-permanent seat at the UN Security Council, assessing it currently as the major task of Hungarian diplomacy, and set forth the activities linked to the Hungarian application.
