Head of CEI visits the International Anti-Corruption Academy

On 12 June, Katalin Pallai, Head of the Budapest-based Centre for Excellence in Integrity (CEI) at the National University for Public Service met with IACA’s Dean and Executive Secretary, Martin Kreutner.

The mission of the recently established CEI is to gather and disseminate knowledge and to implement innovative methods aimed at corruption prevention and the promotion of integrity in public sector institutions in Hungary.

During the meeting, Ms. Pallai showed great interest in IACA’s programmes, particularly the unique Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS). Discussions centered on possibilities of future cooperation and capacity building initiatives. In the course of the visit, Mr. Kreutner also took the opportunity to warmly thank the accompanying representative of the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the international Organizations in Vienna for a recent financial contribution of Hungary to the general budget of IACA.
