58th session of COPOUS (Committee on the Peaceful Use of Outer Space)

The COPOUS plenary took place in Vienna between June 10-19. The Hungarian Delegation was led by Dr. Fruzsina Tari, section head at the Hungarian Space Research Office of the Ministry of National Development. She delivered the Hungarian Statement, which highlighted the major events and achievements of Hungary in the field of space research over the past year.

The Hungarian Delegation was led by Dr. Fruzsina Tari, section head at the Hungarian Space Research Office of the Ministry of National Development. She delivered the Hungarian Statement, which highlighted the major events and achievements of Hungary in the field of space research over the past year. These include among others Hungary’s full membership of the European Space Agency (ESA), the successfully completed mission of the Masat-1 satellite and the Hungarian contribution to the Rosetta mission, including the Hungarian technical assistance to the development of the central onboard computer of the lander Philae.
